Building on the success of its previous funds, Volta has launched a dedicated fund focused exclusively on early-stage B2B software startups in the Benelux. The fund will back around 15 fast-growing companies and is supported by a network of accomplished Dutch and Belgian entrepreneurs.
Volta’s portfolio already includes notable successes such as Cashforce (acquired by TIS), Scailable (acquired by Network Optix), WidgetBrain (acquired by Quinyx), Qualifio (acquired by QNTM) and Keyrock, a European market leader in its domain.
With the new fund, Volta doubles down on its commitment to the earliest stages of SaaS innovation in the region. “AI is enabling startups to build solutions at a scale and speed that simply wasn’t possible before,” said Sander Vonk, co-founder and Managing Partner at Volta.
Volta offers hands-on support across all phases of early growth—from go-to-market strategy and international expansion, to hiring key talent, raising follow-on rounds, and driving successful exits and fully backed by successful entrepreneurs who, in addition to capital, bring deep operational experience and powerful networks to support the next generation of founders.
Volta Ventures Seed has already deployed capital in its first two investments:
- Langwatch (Amsterdam) – a leading-edge AI-driven observability platform for large-scale language models (LLMs), also backed by Passion Capital (UK) and Antler.
- Predikt (Leuven) – an AI-driven predictive analytics and forecasting platform.
